What we keep, and why

Your email is your login (with a password, or an emailed sign-in link) and where league emails go. You can turn those off in Settings; sign-in links always send.

Your team name, lineups, moves, trades and chat messages are visible to everyone in your league — that's the point of a league. Nothing is public outside it.

Push notifications store a device token so alerts can reach you. Turn them off on any device from Settings; the token is deleted.

Player data is public basketball information (names and box-score statistics) from the sources listed on the About page.

Team names, logos and player images are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify them. Hoops League is an independent fantasy game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any professional sports league, team or players' association.

Nothing is sold, shared, or used for ads. There are no trackers or analytics beyond server logs needed to keep the site running.

Reporting and blocking. In the app, hold any chat message to report it or block its author. Reports come to us by email and we review them within 24 hours; a message reported twice is hidden from the league right away.

Deleting your account. On the website or in the iPhone or Android app, go to Settings → Delete account. Your email, name, password, devices and chat messages are erased immediately. Your teams stay in their leagues as “Former manager” so the other managers' standings still add up, and leagues you run pass to another manager.
